Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
Expected Hours: 40 per week

We’re currently seeking a top-tier Level A Light Duty Diesel Truck Technician to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional service.
This senior-level technician role involves advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of light-duty diesel trucks. You’ll work both in-shop and occasionally in the field, handling complex issues and mentoring junior techs. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, emissions systems, drivetrains, and electrical components
- Service light-duty diesel trucks including Ford Power Stroke, Dodge Cummins, and GM Duramax platforms or Diesel Pushers
- Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and tools
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Mentor junior technicians and support a positive team culture
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Stay current with industry trends and certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with light-duty diesel trucks
- Master-level knowledge of diesel systems and diagnostics
- Proficiency with diagnostic software (e.g., IDS, Cummins Insite, Tech2)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working in shop and outdoor environments
- Capable of standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods

Responsibilities:
- Mostly mechanical work – In frame, transmission, aftertreatment(regen), rear ends, clutch, bits, brakes, air bags, injectors, valves, bearings.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Perform maintenance, both mechanical and electrical, service and repairs on Diesel trucks and engines
- Work with diesel mechanic team to provide updates and repairs to diesel trucks and engines
- Uses hydraulic jacks or hoist to gain access to the underside of the unit to aid in the removal or replacement of assemblies such as engines, transmissions, differentials, springs, etc.
- Utilize electronic diagnostic tools and computer software to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of heavy-duty truck engine, braking, electrical, cooling, and exhaust systems
- Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctions
- Determine corrective action of maintenance through repair manuals and experience
- Use tools such as common hand and power tools, hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
- Maintain tools and/or equipment to ensure the availability of the equipment in safe operating condition
- Safely operate vehicles of various sizes in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipment
- Maintain appropriate records of activities
- Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies
Requirements:
- Journeyman mechanics must have tools’
- Advanced ability to read and interpret diagnostic equipment (OEM software)
- Ability to work individually or in teams
- Skilled in the operation of power tools and machinery
- Advanced knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment utilized in maintenance repair
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- ASE or OEM Certifications Preferred
- Experience in welding is a plus
- CDL Preferred
- Safety Certifications preferred
- Basic math and measurement skills
